APPROACH
Our approach is to treat each kitchen as a unique new project. Every customer has different needs and ideas about how their new kitchen should look and function. Our job is to fully understand and meet your requirements.
Fundamental to every handmade kitchen we make is excellence in design, the structural integrity of the cabinets, reliable fittings, appliances and accessories, professional installation and a high level of customer service. We offer a full project management service.
All the wood components of our kitchens are handmade in our Gunnislake workshop using a combination of traditional cabinet making techniques and the best of modern tooling. Drawers are constructed using traditional dovetail joints and doors hung flush with a solid timber face frame on brass butt hinges. Attention to detail is paramount in all our work.
STYLE
The style of your kitchen should be an expression of your needs, preferences and desires, arranged to best fit and complement your home and your lifestyle.
The look of your kitchen depends entirely on you. If you do not already have a clear idea of what you want then we can help you. Together we will consider your specific requirements - what kind of storage you need, what overall image you are trying to create; the style of house and existing features; how you want your kitchen to function, its ‘role’ in your household; what materials appeal to you and would work best.
The possibilities are endless, but essentially, we use the word Bespoke as it was intended, i.e. made to meet specific requirements.
DESIGN
We provide a complete design service using state-of–the–art computer modeling, but more importantly, are keenly aware of the issues involved in creating a kitchen which functions well and looks magnificent.
A kitchen should be tailored to your exact needs, be strong and hard-wearing and at the same time a work of art for all to admire.
MATERIALS
You can choose from a wide range of woods with natural or painted finishes. We can work with most hard woods and soft woods. Almost all of our timber, granite and stainless steel fabrications are sourced from local suppliers.WORKTOPS
Choose from a huge range of worktops. Granite is enduring and sophisticated. Lighter woods are warm and homely. Darker woods such as iroko and walnut can create a dramatic statement. Composite surfaces such as Corian are versatile and hard wearing and complement many styles.APPLIANCES
Appliances can be subtly built-in or can make a bold statement. We supply and fit most big name appliances, such as Neff, Smeg, General Electric, Rangemaster, Franke, Perrin & Rowe, Stoves and many more.FITTINGS
We have a vast range of handles, drawer runners, hinges, lights, and many other fittings for you to choose from. We only use fittings which are suitable and durable. For example, we always use strong gliding drawer mechanisms and brass butt hinges.
A Personal Service
We do not have a showroom, which has three distinct advantages for our customers.
Firstly, the cost saving of not running an expensive shop helps keep our prices down.
Secondly, our customers do not have to find time to go back and forth to a shop during office hours.
Thirdly, consulting with you in your home, or on site, allows us to give you a truly personal service and greatly aids the design process.
Discussions will take place at mutually convenient times, including evenings and weekends.
FITTED KITCHENS
If a fully handmade kitchen is not the right solution for you then we can supply good quality off-the-shelf kitchen cabinets. With this option we can offer you an extensive range of doors, handles, sinks, taps, work surfaces and a host of accessories.
We can simply supply the cabinets, and if required worktops and other components, or we can manage the entire project, from computer aided designs, right through to full installation.
Whatever kitchen you specify customer service and attention to detail are fundamental to the way we work. We always put the customer first and continuously strive to listen, understand and fully meet your expectations.
COSTS
Whatever the budget we deliver high quality kitchens which are installed professionally and we believe offer excellent value for money. All our work is guaranteed.HAND MADE KITCHENS
It would not be possible for us to publish a fixed price list as no two kitchens are the same. As a general guide, a handmade bespoke kitchen will normally cost between £15,000 and £25,000. This would include design, cabinet work, a high grade worktop such as granite, appliances, installation, plumbing and lighting.
We provide a free design and quotation service, except in exceptional circumstances where we reserve the right the charge a small, agreed fee.
FITTED KITCHENS
As a general guide our off the shelf fitted kitchens will usually cost between £5,000 and £15,000. The price varies greatly depending on choices regarding door styles, worktops, appliances etc.
